More than fake rolex half a century ago Willy Breitling said that the brand’s new watches “would be particularly suited to the needs of young and active professionals” and launched the Top Time chronograph. Today Breitling renews and improves it.
At first glance, the dial, known to collectors as the Zorro dial, immediately catches the eye.
Inside the 41 mm steel case of the Top Time beats the Breitling caliber 23, a chronograph movement on an ETA Valjoux 7753 base with a power reserve of about 48 hours. Like all Breitlings, it is equipped with a chronometer certificate issued by COSC.
This watch has red hour and minute hands and circular hour markers coated with Super-LumiNova. In addition to the central chronograph hour, minute and second hands, the dial also features a decimal scale and two small seconds counters at 9 o’clock and 30 minutes with red inserts at 3 o’clock.
The vintage look is that of the original replica watches model and completed by a brown nubuck leather strap. It will be built in a limited series of 2,000 numbered copies on the case back.
